This is a beautiful cottage with amazing views. Each morning we were able to watch the sun come up over the mountains. The interior was everything that we needed it to be. A rugged feel but all the things that we needed. The cottage was very clean and organized. We plan on making another trip out to Big Sky and plan to reserve this same cottage. We have stayed at other VRBO's in the past that were not nearly as clean and well maintained as the Cowboy Cottage.Highly recommend.

Our cabin The Outlaw was great, easy ski in ski out to Powder River trail, short blue run down to Iron Horse lift. Even easier skiing back down to the cabin via Iron Horse or the Madison 8 lift, etc. Acra and Chris were great hosts, very responsive and helpful in every way. The outlaw was the perfect house for our ski trip this year. The location on the slope was perfect, ski directly off the front porch, so easy to pop in for lunch or a quick break anytime. We will definitely book again! It was so easy that we even skied a couple of runs the day of our checkout!!!

Fantastic all around! The location simply cannot be beat! We had so much fun staying right on the slopes, we skied all day and then the kids enjoyed sledding and building ski jumps at the end of the day while the adults soaked in the hot tub. It was so easy to come in for lunch and then click back into the skis right off the porch. We had such a great trip!!!

Great family holiday getaway - Our family of four had a great time in the Cowboy Haven cabin. It was well stocked and made it easy to make meals in the cabin. The space was just right and accomodated two adults and two college students perfectly. We loved that we could ski almost right off the front porch! Daughter - Dad Paradise! My daughter and I stayed here for a few nights for a daughter – father, spring break getaway. If the snow is good, you will need four-wheel-drive to get here, but once hear access to the mountain could not be easier. Walk out the door, put your skis on and go. The cabin is serene. Cowboy heaven was awesome! clean, super comfy beds and squishy soft blankets, loved them. Tons of towels, kitchen well stocked. Never heard snow cats grooming, quiet. Someone kindly cleared the snow from porch each day, as it snowed each day :) if we come back to big sky would definitely rent again!

Perfect Ski in/out Location! We loved this little cabin. It was perfect for our needs and the location for skiing can't be beat! Everything we needed was provided including a thoughtful welcome basket. The snow plows came by early in the evening so we were not awakened like other ski in/out locations which was a huge plus. The only thing we wished we had was a garage but it would not prevent us from staying here again!

Perfect getaway! We traveled to Montana as a family last week. The cabin was spectacular. The location was superb. Convenient to restaurants and shops, but also private and quiet. It was truly the best of all worlds. My kids loved the space and were comfortable and at home immediately upon arrival. We will be back! The cowboy heaven cabin was perfect for our Christmas holiday with our adult kids. Ski right off the porch onto the powder river trail right to the iron horse lift and the mountains are yours! We had groceries delivered right to our cabin by the hungry moose market while we skied, which was super convenient. After a fun day on the mountain my husband grilled steaks and chicken on the grill while the Girls and I enjoyed the hot tub. Amazing! Thank you Acra and Chris for all the nice touches!

The cabin itself is cozy, and after spending a long week prior exploring Yellowstone, we were ready to relax for a couple of days, and this was the perfect place for it. Wish we could have stayed longer! My husband, eldest son and I stayed at this cabin to celebrate a 13th birthday. I chose this cabin particularly for the location. It sits on then end of the road so that one whole side of the cabin is open to views of mountains, forest, ski runs, trails, etc. the views from this cabin are truly stunning! It had everything we could need and plenty of what we wanted! The communication prior to arrival was perfect and we had no trouble gaining entry to the cabin upon arrival.

Great slope-side cabin! We had a wonderful 4 day stay in mid-April at this lovely cabin in Big Sky. Acra, the property owner, was friendly and responsive. The cabin was charming and perfect for a little group. The best part was that we could step off our cabin deck and right on to the slopes for excellent skiing at Big Sky Resort. It was terrible to be able to put my skies on, then ski off the porch for the day and ski right back in for lunch. Décor is very Montana and charming. The Wifi system and tvs worked very well. Furniture and beds are very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

We have to say that our stay at Cowboy Heaven this past week in June of 2017 was truly an unforgettable experience. For my family we expected beauty and peacefulness in Big Sky Montana and got it! This cabin was just as advertised. It was beautiful yet modern and we received everything that was advertised within the property. Acra Samuels was a tremendous host. I have just completed a return trip to Big Sky, staying at "The Outlaw" in the Cowboy Heaven area of Moonlight Basin. Property owner and manager, Acra Samuels, has provided every detail with thoughtful and creative energies. What a pleasure it is to have every aspect of this picturesque cabin perfectly presented. Kudos to Ms. Samuels...and equal kudos to the magnificence of skiing at Big Sky!!

The cabin was perfect for our family! It's probably 9-10 mile up the mountain but we loved it! We loved sitting on the porch in the morning and drinking our coffee and enjoying the beautiful mountain view. We hiked on the trail that was directly behind our cabin it was a nice hike. The owner of the cabin is very thoughtful in that she provides things you may have forgotten at home or at the grocery store, we were very impressed. The beds were super comfy too! Big Sky is having a great snow year...yet the highlight of our ski trip was this wonderful cabin! Perched high above everything (except Lone Peak), this place has been outfitted with every single detail. It is a joy to find a rental property with this much attention lavished on comfort and efficiency. Truly superb!!!!!!

If you are looking for a lovely place to stay with access to National Forrest's, beautiful views and a homey feel, this is the place for you! Nothing short of spectacular views, especially from the hot tub at night to gaze at the stars - great hikes outside our front door and clean air. The cabin was perfect for our family of 4 and allowed us to reconnect before school started. Top notch!

Perfect vacation rental if you enjoy skiing! Right on the slopes of the best skiing in the US. Cabin had all amenities. Management company very easy to work with & it couldn't imagine staying anywhere else on our next visit.

Our family has returned to the Cowboy Heaven Cabins every year for the past eight years. The "Outlaw" is by far the best appointed and situated. The cabin is perched ON the Powder River run, a true ski in, ski out experience. When the kids were younger, this made getting on the slope effortless. They can even sled right out the front door into the snow bank about 100ft away. The kitchen has everything you'll need, and all the dishes, pots and pans are in new condition. We spent 10 glorious days in the Outlaw Cabin. The fox greeted us upon arrival, then returned later to see how our stay was! The beds are very comfortable and the cabin is one of the best stocked that we have ever encountered. The views are incredible as are the sunrises! Yellowstone is about an hour away and is a must see. We plan to return to Moonlight and the Outlaw Cabin.

We came all the way from Israel for three whole weeks and enjoyed every minute. The cabin is in a beautiful location, clean, very well maintained, equiped with all we could think of and even more. Used the hot tub on the porch every single day acompanied by 2 very friendly foxes that came to visit daily. Acra was most helpful with everything we needed! The Cowboy Heaven Cabin was perfect for our family of three. The owners have decorated nicely and have stocked the cabin with all of the amenities, including a tv in each room (if you need that kind of entertainment). The kitchen has everything you need including a dishwasher, nice dishes, pots and pans, silverware, coffee maker, etc. We had everything we needed and more. The Outlaw was a great place to stay and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Big Sky. The view from the porch is incredible, the owner is a pro, the place is well stocked, couldn't ask for anything more. The only bummer was that we didn't book it for longer since it was so nice!
