Beautiful contemporary cabin with amazing Mountain View!
We chose this cabin based on its upper location to the other cabins, the hot tub, the fire table, and because it was more contemporary than most with bunkbeds for our kids. This cabin was fully stocked, the beds were comfortable, and our kids especially loved the Nintendo Wii. The owners responded quickly and were very attentive and gave us great detailed recommendations for events in the area along with restaurants, and other great local offerings. A welcome basket was a nice added touch too. The only thing we would have appreciated was a closet to hang up clothes and a full length mirror. We really enjoyed our stay!

"Looking for a modernized yet cozy cabin right on the slopes at Big Sky? LOOK NO FURTHER! The "Shooting Star" cabin located in the desirable Cowboy Heaven neighborhood of Moonlight Basin ( a part of the Big Sky Resort) is where you want to be! Our family of 4 ( kids ages 15 and 21 ) rented this 2 bed/2 bath authentic cabin around Christmastime. It is beautifully decorated, clean and updated. We loved being able to click into our skis right off the porch onto the Powder River ski run down to the Iron Horse lift which will get you anywhere you want to be on Big Sky Resort's massive terrain. Being able to come in for lunch or a quick warm up next to the fire was extremely convenient and at the end of the day, the spotless hot tub was always hot with killer mountain views. The beds are comfy, bathrooms updated beautifully and a parking spot right next to the cabin ( if coming in the winter months, would highly recommend a 4 wheel drive vehicle). We have stayed in Cowboy Heaven cabins many times before, both in the summer and winter seasons and Shooting Star is definitely our family favorite so far! Lastly, Acra, the owner/manager was so easy to communicate with and was helpful with our pre-arrival questions/concerns- many thanks for her gracious hospitality - we can't wait to come back again!
